Our Team

Our team includes some of the UK’s leading child and adolescent psychotherapists, coaches, mentors, teachers and academics. Even though our experience and expertise are diverse, we are united in our passion to help pupils mature and develop in all areas of life, not just academic attainment. We have experienced almost every gamut of performance, mental health and wellbeing issues in education – so while we won’t pretend we have seen everything, it’s probably close. This allows us to not only experience the current challenges facing schools first-hand, but has also given us a deep understanding of what works in schools and what doesn't - especially price-wise and at a practical level. In creating The Other Subject, we have also worked with the most important people of all as part of our team: we have actively engaged school staff and pupils to find out what they think of our programmes and workshops – and all of our tools, techniques and strategies in The Other Subject have been improved and enhanced over time as a result of this process.
